Cycle or walk to Prudhoe castle, the Roman Wall at Heddon or visit one of the many famous sites along Hadrian’s Wall. Explore the flora, fauna and History of the adjacent countryside park.

The international Golf Course at Close House is just along the historic Wylam Waggonway path. There are more Golf Courses at Ryton.

The celebrated Northumbrian Coast and Castles, Alnwick, Kielder Forest Park and Water and the Cheviot hills are all well within reach by car.
